Here's a rant: I am so GODDAMN SICK of people saying you have to write every day. It's such... bullshit. Read every day? Yes. Think every day? Definitely. But some days the words just simmer instead of cooking. Some days you'd rather absorb than create. All this 'routine' crap comes from people who can actually write for a living and ignore everything else. The rest of us, the ones with 'day jobs', have to make do.
